IML-RESI

JUST KNOW WHAT YOU CAN'T SEE !

WE BACK UP YOUR WORK
Wherever-either in its natural environment or as a part of a timber structure- wood is continuously used, walked on, or loaded, an extremely high safety standard is required. Therefore, the trees standing along roads and in green areas or forests as well as timber structures must be regularly checked with respect to their safety.
There is, however, a problem: Whether trees, bridges, or playground equipment are concerned- interior defects usually cannot be seen on the outside. That is why we have developed various devices that pay special attention to the interior of wooden objects. Our control and measuring systems quickly, easily, and reliably inform you of the actual condition of trees timber structures.
Our instruments serve for
  • detecting putridity in various stages
  • recognizing compressed separation zones
    and
  • locating ring shake, fissures and cavities

Thus, by taking the necessary steps early

  • defective timber structures can be
    made safe
    and
  • valuable silvicultural stands can be preserved
The measuring methods on which our instruments are based are generally accepted by scientists.

On the following pages you will find a survey of our products.

The IML-RESI Small Instrument,
Great Effect

The IML-RESI system is based on a drilling resistance measuring method. A drilling needle with a diameter of 1.5 to 3.00 mm penetrates into the wooden object with a regular advance, and the drilling resistance is measured. The data are recorded on a paper or wax paper strip at a scale of 1:1 or instantly printed out by a printer. The advantages of the IML-RESI are quite obvious: The wood will only be insignificantly injured, the more as the borings will remain in the drill hole and thus close it.
A special computer software (F-TOOLS PRO) serves for creating measuring profiles, on the basis of which the data collected may be rapidly and exactly analyzed and catalogued. Thus, the data can easily be archived and will instantly be available for comparative measurements.

The delicate drilling needle
works carefully precisely:
The measuring data are
comprehensive, while the wood
remains almost uninjured.

As it is simultaneously recorded
on a paper strip at a scale of 1:1,
the measuring profile can be
 immediately
analyzed

The measuring curves are unmistakable: Compression wood, various stages of putridity, fissures, and other defects are exactly recognized

The F-TOOLS PRO computer
software
(for PC or laptop)
considerably quickens,
facilitates, and systematizes
the analysis.

IML-RESI F

The IML-RESI F line, which has been recently developed, is an attachment for commercially available drilling machines. The measuring instrument is attached to the drill by means of a plug-in connector. The drilling machine drives the needle into the wood. Simultaneously, the measuring results are mechanically recorded on a wax paper strip.

IML-RESI F

Compact design, light weight,
and easy handling: These are
the great advantages of this line.

IML-RESI M

The M line represents a very sturdy variant of the instrument. These devices are operated either by a accumulator drive or by hand. The great advantage of this type of instrument is its robustness, owing to which the IML-RESI M is extraordinary suited for frequent utilization.
The measuring results are mechanically recorded at a scale of 1:1 on a wax paper strip to be seen in the instrument, as this the case with the IML-RESI F.

IML-RESI E

The IML-RESI E, a very light-weight device, especially serves for quick on-the-spot diagnosis. It is suited for the detection of pronounced defects and symptoms. the measuring data are stored on integrated memory chip an may immediately be printed out at a scale 1:1. Subsequently, they may be analyzed by means of the F-Tools Pro software.
as to its employment, the E line is particularly flexible: In case of need, the instrument may be used in some distance from the electronic unit (accumulator and printer) which is connected by a several meter long cable.

The integrated printer with data storage will quickly supply you with measuring results on the spot

IML-RESI B

The IML-RESI B is particularly suited for fields of activity requiring high certainty of reading and the highest possible local resolution. This type of instrument, which is provided with a PC connection, is of an outstanding measuring accuracy. The measuring profiles are electronically stored and may thus be exactly analyzed and catalogued.

IML-RESI B

The ideal measuring instrument for complex tasks, offering high certainty of reading, detail rendition, and accuracy.

All of the above versions may be delivered in an aluminum case
